French national Amine Halit, 26, was remanded in custody this afternoon after pleading not guilty to participation in organised crime, defrauding banks and making use of 14 false credit cards.

Halit was arraigned before Magistrate Miriam Hayman after having been arrested by officers of the police Economic Crimes Unit yesterday.
