Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has scrapped his annual ice cream budget following revelations of how much his office spent.
The government said once he was made aware of the state-financed contract issued to purchase ice cream from his favourite Jerusalem shop, he ordered it to be stopped immediately.
Mr Netanyahu called the contract for £2,000 a year "excessive and unacceptable".
