Creative company BRND WGN is organising a fun run at the University Athletics Track, with half the proceeds going to Hospice Malta.

The event, on March 10, includes a 5km race/walk, 2km race/walk, 5km relay and 800m children’s fun run.

The University races date back to as early as the 80s when University students would gather on the ring road for a showdown of the fittest. Last year’s event raised €4,350 for Hospice Malta, and so far this year, the organisers have already collected €1,700.

The closing date for applications is March 6.
