An exhibition of paintings by local artists is being organised by the support committee of the Pepprin Children`s Choir, at Millenia in Aldo Moro Street, Marsa.

It will be opened today by Donna Gioia, wife of the US Ambassador to Malta.

The choir is trying to raise money to help with the cost of taking part in a choir festival in Belgium in 2003, which is being organised by the Salesians of Don Bosco to mark the centenary of their pastoral work in that country.

The artists contributing their works for the exhibition are Doranne Aldenm, Harry Alden, Maurice Calleja, Paul Camilleri Cauchi, Albert Caruana, Aldo Galea, Dragan Stoilov, Therese Storace and Arnold Sultana.

It will be open to the public from tomorrow to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
