Funk Initiative will be opening this year’s Isle of MTV on the Granaries in Floriana on Wednesday after winning the Isle of MTV Battle of the Bands competition.

They will be performing their track Paris.

The band is made up of three doctors, two engineers and an accounts teacher. One of the doctors is Malta Eurovision winner Gianluca Bezzina.

The band will receive a director´s cut of their performance, a published interview with MTV News and the publication of their performance on the official Isle of MTV website.

The concert line-up is made up of Nicole Scherzinger, Enrique Iglesias, Dizzee Rascal, DJ Hardwell and Kiesza.
