Furniture, IT missions held

METCO's Dubai office recently took up an information stand at INDEX Exhibition in Dubai, the largest furniture and interiors show in the Middle East.

To coincide with this exhibition, METCO also organised a mini trade mission and one-to-one meetings for Maltese companies that travelled purposely to Dubai.

Another mini trade mission, for the IT sector, was also held earlier this month with five Maltese companies participating, coinciding with GITEX Exhibition, the leading IT exhibition in the region.

METCO's Dubai office has now been open for the past eight months and is assisting Maltese companies to penetrate the UAE and Gulf markets.

One of the main activities being undertaken by the office is that of coordinating mini trade missions on a regular basis and also in participating in exhibitions in order to effectively promote Malta and Maltese products in the region.
