A gas heater blew up in a driveway in Msida, with the loud blast sparking alarm in the surrounding areas on Saturday.

Police said the explosion took place in the driveway of a private residence.

No one was hurt in the incident, however, the blast caused some damage to the property and smashed window panes of an adjacent building.
