The Gasan Group has announced a programme of activities spread over a number of months to celebrate the 80th anniversary since it became a car importer.
The group has been importing Ford cars ever since company founder Joe Gasan signed a car importation agreement with Henry Ford on October 1, 1928. It now also imports Jaguar, Volvo and Mazda cars.
The programme was announced by David Gasan, managing director of Gasan Enterprises, who paid tribute to his grandfather.
"These have been eighty years of growth, business, enterprise, development, solid work and success," he said.
Activities will start later this month when the company will hold a Bargain Event during which 80 vehicles from across its range will be sold "at fantastically reduced prices" and will benefit from improved finance terms.
The group will then hold monthly events including the launching of five new car models. An anniversary reception will be held on October 1 when a grand lottery will be drawn.
The group will also step up its Gasan Goes Green campaign through donations to the 34U campaign and other initiatives.
