The General Workers' Union youth movement yesterday recalled the events of April 28, 1958 when the union organised a general strike to safeguard the livelihood of 7,000 Drydocks workers.

In a statement it issued yesterday, the union's section said all workers should now plan to celebrate their day during the May 1 celebrations.
