Allow me, through your newspaper, to thank the many generous contributors who made Christmas a happy one for the children residing in Church homes.

May I single out the financial contributions and other gifts in kind of: HSBC Cares for Children Fund, the Community Chest Fund, the ministry of finance, the ministry of agriculture and fisheries, Maltapost, Voices, RTK Radio, parish communities and other groups and benefactors.

I would also like to thank the various corporations and organisations holding Christmas parties for the children and the elderly.
