While reading Brian N Tarpey's interesting letter, "Geman PoW chapel", I focused my attention on that part of the story where Capt. Micallef Trigona was mentioned.

This gentleman acted as translator for the German PoWs during the consecration of the chapel built by them in Pembroke.

At the moment I am engaged in research work about the German PoWs in Malta and am seeking any information concerning this topic.

In the case of Capt. Micallef Trigona, it would be of interest to know about the human relationships, which Capt. Micallef Trigona experienced with the PoWs.

If the relatives of the gentleman in question have any documents or photographs related to their father's wartime duties with the PoWs, I would be very pleased if these were made available for consultation. I can be contacted on reisleiter@hotmail.com.
