Thirty-one-year-old 'Glee' star Cory Monteith was found dead in a hotel room in the Canadian city of Vancouver last night.

Vancouver's acting police chief Doug Lepard said officers were called by the ambulance service.

In April a representative for Monteith said he'd gone to a rehabilitation facility for an unspecified substance addiction.

The exact cause of the actor's death was not immediately apparent but Lepard said there were no signs anyone else was involved.
