Go Mobile to reduce roaming charges

Go Mobile will be announcing reduced international roaming charges for its customers to make charges more understandable, while continuing to provide better value to customers who use their Go Mobile line abroad.

This reduction is being done in view of the European trend to lower roaming tariffs and make them more transparent.

Go Mobile chief executive officer Professor Juanito Camilleri said the company is studying various options to rationalise its roaming tariffs, to apply discounts whenever possible, and to ensure that its customers are aware of their costs.

"We are determined to ensure that Go Mobile retains its edge as the better value provider of roaming services, and we will shortly be announcing roaming tariffs which are simpler to understand and advantageous to the end user," Professor Camilleri said.

Meanwhile, Go Mobile's roaming service is available in over 151 countries worldwide, thanks to roaming agreements with over 230 mobile phone networks. For more information on international roaming, customers can call Go Care on 146, or 7922-2146 when abroad.
