Goldman Sachs Alternatives completes Melita acquisition

Goldman Sachs Alternatives infrastructure business has completed the acquisition of communications company Melita following regulatory approvals.
The deal was first announced in late 2024.
Goldman Sachs Alternatives said it would continue to invest in Melita’s nationwide gigabit broadband and 5G mobile networks and support its commitment to sustainability.
Harald Roesch, CEO of Melita, said: “With the acquisition now complete, we are excited to begin the next phase of growth with Goldman Sachs Alternatives. Their support reaffirms Melita’s commitment to delivering reliable, innovative and sustainable digital infrastructure for Malta and beyond.”
