Prime Minister Lawrence Gonzi promised tonight to introduce new people to his Cabinet if the PN is returned to power.He told interviewer Laurence Grech, former editor of The Sunday Times that the time was ripe to insert new and young elements in his next government. It all depended on who of the candidates was elected.

Asked at a discussion in Naxxar why Malta should elect another PN government after 20 years in power, Dr Gonzi said the PN was the only real guarantee of continued progress and the MLP had proved and was continuing to prove during this campaign that it had no real plans for Malta’s future.
