The University Chaplaincy, will once again, organise the Good News Narrathon, a marathon of six hours of reflection and themes from Scripture, on Ash Wednesday.

This year the theme of the Narrathon is Nimxu Flimkien (Walking Together) with the themes derived from the Diocesan Synod which is now in its implementation phase. They include the role of lay people, young people's challenge to live their faith, using the media to spread the Good News.

The Narrathon is open to the public and offers a possibility to individuals to start the journey of Lent on a reflective note, in communion with others.

The Chaplaincy invites all University staff and sudents to start Lent by the celebration of the Ash Wednesday Mass at 12.30 p.m. in the chapel. The Narrathon will be held in the University Chapel from 4 to 10 p.m. and will bring together various Christian groups and movements.

This activity will launch a packed Lenten programme, including retreats, Bible study groups, Lenten reflection talks by the Chaplaincy, which will reach its climax in the Easter triduum.

More information about the programme from the Chaplaincy at chaplaincy@um.edu.mt, tel. 2340-2341 or by visiting www.umchaplaincy.org.
