Gozitan art for Pat Cox

A Gozitan artist's painting was presented to European Parliament president Pat Cox after being selected from an exhibition of Gozitan art.

Vince Caruana's painting was among those on display at the Victoria local council hall on the occasion of Malta's accession to the European Union.

The young artist's creation, Gaia's Domain, was presented to Mr Cox during his recent visit to Malta.

Mr Caruana, who teaches various artistic media at the Gozo Centre for Arts and Crafts, has already put up two exhibitions and is preparing a third one in autumn.
