Gozitan group sets up crib at the European Parliament

Metsola praises volunteers in the culture sector

A Gozitan group has set up a crib in the European Parliament building in Brussels.

The work by Għimmanu-El -Għajnsielem Crib Making Association was inaugurated by parliament president Roberta Metsola in the presence of a number of Maltese and Gozitans led by the association's president Paul Stellini.

Metsola said the crib was an example of how Maltese and Gozitan heritage grew through dedicated volunteers.

The nativity scene will remain on display at the European Parliament until the beginning of January, after which it will remain permanently in the European Parliament building.
