The On The Dot column of November 28, under the heading Dead Beat, referred to the Commonwealth War Graves sign at the Maria Addolorata Cemetery as being "spanking new".

Apart from our four main cemeteries and the Malta (Air Force) Memorial in Floriana, the Commonwealth War Graves Commission has war graves in other locations, including the Maria Addolorata cemetery, where all signs indicating that there are Commonwealth war graves when erected a few years ago, where permission from the authorities concerned was granted.
