Martin Gregory, coach of Gharghur, has had his four-month touchline ban reduced to two matches on appeal, a statement from the Division Three club said.

On January 14, the MFA Disciplinary Commissioner had suspended Gregory for a period of four months on the basis of a report by referee Mariano Debono following the league match between Gharghur and Fgura United (1-1).

The MFA Appeals Board on Friday overturned the four-month suspension and ordered that Gregory be banned for two matches. Gregory has already served the first of his two-match suspension during Gharghur's game against Sta Venera (0-0). His ban ends after Gharghur's game against Ghaxaq on February 10.
