A 23-year-old woman from San Gwann was yesterday given a suspended sentence by Magistrate Antonio Mizzi after she was found guilty of fraud charges.

Joanne Ellul Sullivan was charged with having falsified a document in order to make fraudulent gains and with having made a false declaration. She was also charged with being a relapser.

The court sentenced Ellul Sullivan to imprisonment for one year, suspended for two years.
