A Kirkop man was yesterday given an 18-month jail term suspended for three years for trading without a licence from the relevant authority.

Magistrate Saviour Demicoli heard Carmel Farrugia, 48, plead guilty to the charge. He also fined Farrugia Lm100.

Police Inspector Joseph Cordina prosecuted.
