Sana Grillo produced a solid performance in the artistic gymnastics individual competition at the Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast.

Competing in her preferred apparatus, the Vault, Grillo managed to compile an overall score of 12.350 points to finish tenth and still with a chance of making the final with eight other gymnasts still to complete their qualifying programme.

Scotland's Shannon Archer was leading the way with 13.650.

In the All Round competition, which saw participants compete in Vault, Uneven Bars, Balance Beam and the Floor Exercise, Grillo was 16th with a combined score of 41.350.

Archer was again leading the way in this category with an combined score of 48.350.
