An Msida man was yesterday conditionally discharged for two years for handling Lm8,000 worth of stolen cash nine years ago.

Christian Cilia, 30, pleaded guilty to circulating the cash when he knew it was stolen on and before October 7, 1993.

Police Inspector Michael Mallia prosecuted.
