An eight-cannon salute was fired and a tug boat sprayed water in the air yesterday as the AIDAbella cruise ship called at Grand Harbour for the first time, following regular visits by its sister ships. With a length of 224.97 metres and a beam of 32.19 metres, the ship can carry 2,500 passengers. It is owned by the Carnival Group.
