It will certainly not sell like pastizzi but it will undoubtedly turn heads wherever it goes: the Porsche Cayenne was launched in Malta yesterday.

Its starting price is Lm47,800, but for those who have even more cash to burn, there is always the Porsche Cayenne Turbo, starting at just Lm77,300.

The sports utility vehicle offers four wheel drive, and six-speed transmission as well as a host of other equipment as standard.

The 4.5 litre Turbo's price includes a Bose surround sound system with 14 loudspeakers and an output of 350 Watts.
