The addendum to the agreement signed on February 2, 2004 does not cover the grades of heads of school and assistant heads of school as stated in the item.
It covers the grades of assistant directors of education, education officers and heads of school and dates back to February 7, 2001 when the original addendum in respect of the education class (teachers' stream) was signed and effected.
In the case of the three grades under reference, negotiations started after the setting up of an ad hoc working group and were concluded in February, 2004.
The MUT council is still awaiting formal reactions to proposals submitted on a sectoral agreement and is exerting pressure on the authorities in this regard.
