Hearts go back on top
Rangers booed off the pitch
Managerless Hearts returned to the top of the Scottish Premier League with a 3-0 win over Dundee United yesterday.
But champions Rangers fell 12 points behind the leaders with a goalless home draw with Aberdeen and were booed off the pitch.
Paul Hartley slotted home the Hearts opener in four minutes before Czech player Rudi Skacel rifled in a 30-yard free-kick before the interval.
Czech striker Michal Pospisil completed the scoring with a third after half-time and Hearts now have 35 points from 14 games while Celtic are second on 32 points from 13 games. They play Falkirk today.
Hearts manager George Burley was fired two weeks ago despite guiding them to 10 games unbeaten and last week the chairman and chief executive also departed.
Rangers have 23 points from 14 games and are fourth in the standings.
