The heat proved to be too much for this poor horse this afternoon which had to be stopped by his owner who realised that something was wrong as he was taking tourists on a trip round Valletta.

The owner stopped the ride, untied the horse from the carriage and gave the animal water as he waited for the animal to regain his energy.
