The Malta Institute of Management has been appointed as approved learning partner of Herriot Watt University. After a long-standing relationship with the university's Business School the Malta Institute of Management is now strengthening its relationship with the university by offering five first degrees in management, business administration, finance and accountancy areas.
The two organisations have been in discussions for two years in order to identify the training needs in Malta. After the training needs analysis conducted by the Malta Institute of Management and after lengthy discussions with the employers, MIM and the Herriot Watt University decided to launch these degrees, which also take into consideration the current education system in Malta. Special opportunities will be given to students including Junior College and Mcast students.
A detailed explanation of the programmes, their benefits and the employment opportunities following such degrees will be given during an open day to be held at MIM on Saturday. During the day students will have the opportunity to discuss their opportunities and the fun of education directly with the tutors and with the council members of the Malta Institute of Management.
