Michael Refalo, the High Commissioner for Malta in the United Kingdom and Mrs Refalo were the guests of the Lord Mayor of Kensington and Chelsea, Councillor Warwick Lightfoot, at a re-enactment to commemorate the arrival, at the Royal Borough, of the Trafalgar Despatch that 200 years ago brought news of Nelson's victory at Trafalgar and of his death.

Malta will join the Trafalgar Bicentenarial Celebrations with the symbolic planting of an oak sapling at Kensington Square Gardens. The Lord Mayor will preside over the ceremony, which will be held on September 29, the anniversary of Lord Nelson's birthday.
