Enemalta Corporation yesterday announced fuel prices "to reflect increases on the international fuel market".
The prices of unleaded petrol and kerosene on the international markets increased by 17 per cent and eight per cent respectively, while diesel increased by four per cent.
To reflect these changes, as from yesterday, prices have been revised as follows: -
Unleaded petrol from 35c6 to 36c3 per litre; Lead Replacement Petrol from 38c6 to 39c3 per litre; EN590 diesel from 28c2 to 29c0 per litre; and kerosene from 13c2 to 13c4 per litre.
The price adjustment has been calculated according to the formula through which the prices of petroleum products are made to reflect the fluctuations in prices on the international oil market.
The revised price of diesel also includes the periodic adjuster between unleaded petrol and diesel, the corporation said.
