Hilton Malta has taken a number of environmental initiatives in Hilton International's We Care Campaign.

The hotel aims to increase resource efficiency and reduce utility costs. It has embarked on a number of sustainable projects that include two new reverse osmosis units which fully supply the hotel's fresh water needs, the conversion from diesel to gas burners for the hotel's hot water system, and waste water treatment for the irrigation system.

Green leaders from the Ministry of the Environment and Rural Affairs were recently shown the projects.

Hilton Malta also planted 100 trees in the 34U campaign in Salina last month.
