Tanti makes debut
Joseph Tanti kicked off his Danish league venture last week with two league games for VRI Risskov.
There was little success for the fourth division side though as Risskov suffered two successive defeats - vs Skovbakken 28-16 and AIA Arhus 25-18. In the second match, Tanti's contribution was a significant one despite the negative outcome. He scored five times.
Tanti, currently attending a 10-month handball scholarship in Denmark, also played a friendly for Risskov before the championship got underway. The team lost to a division three side 30-26, the Malta international helping himself to four goals.
Tanti will play for Malta in December's Challenge Trophy.
