No one was injured yesterday when a petrol pump attendant in Valletta Road, Mosta was held up by two hooded men one of whom was armed, the police said.

At about 4.30 p.m. a car with three hooded persons inside stopped at the station, and two of them rushed out of the vehicle and demanded that the employee at the station hand over a pouch which contained an unspecified amount of cash.

The three persons then sped off in the same car, the police said.

Duty magistrate Abigail Lofaro has appointed experts to assist in an inquiry.
