The Domus Pius IX of Triq Matty Grima, Cospicua, is hosting its traditional Last Supper display, which includes statues of the 12 apostles, Our Lady of Sorrows, and Mary of Magdala. Most of the plates are decorated and all work is made of salt, rice, flour, all kinds of pasta and cereals.

The Golgotha is a representation of the Passion, from Christ's entrance into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday till his Death on the Cross five days later. Opening hours are from Friday to Sunday from 9 a.m. to noon, and 5.30 to 10 p.m.; March 21-26 from 8.30 a.m. to late at night; and Easter Sunday from 8.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.

Floriana
A passion play, Waslet is-Siegha, by Pierre Bonello, is being staged by Bronk Productions at the Catholic Institute today at 2.30 and 6 p.m., and on Saturday and Sunday at 6 p.m The play has a 40-strong cast.

Gharghur
The Dwal Godda Theatre Company is presenting Salib it-Toroq, a two-act street play that will be enacted on Palm Sunday at 4.30 p.m., with the traditional Holy Week procession in Gharghur starting after the first act. The St Bartholomew Band will accompany the parish choir Pax Christi which will sing hymns while the statues are carried out of the church.

Ghaxaq
The St Joseph Band Club is exhibiting Good Friday statues at its premises, 81, Triq Santa Marija, Ghaxaq, between Wednesday and Good Friday. Opening hours are Monday to Friday from 5.30 to 9 p.m., Sunday from 9.30 a.m. till noon and 3.30 to 10 p.m., Maundy Thursday from 5 to 11 p.m., and Good Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Reno Busuttil is holding an exhibition of Good Friday statues at San Filippu Neri chapel, Ghaxaq. The statues are being presented within a church model. The exhibition opens today and ends on Good Friday. Opening hours are Monday to Saturday from 5.30 to 9 p.m., Sundays from 9.30 a.m. to noon and 3.30 to 9.30 p.m., Maundy Thursday from 5 to 11 p.m., and Good Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Michael Spiteri is presenting an exhibition of Good Friday statues made in Spain at the Labour Party Club, Ghaxaq, from Friday to March 25. Opening hours are Monday to Saturday from 5.30 to 9 p.m., Sunday 9.30 a.m. to noon and 3.30 to 10 p.m., Maundy Thursday from 5 to 11 p.m., and Good Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Mellieha
A Last Supper display, statues representing the Passion and flower arrangements inspired by Holy Week, are being exhibited at the Mellieha parish centre hall. A photographic exhibition will also be held to mark the 25th anniversary of the organising group.

Opening hours are Tuesday to March 23 between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m., Maundy Thursday all day till 11 p.m., and Good Friday and Easter Vigil till 1 p.m.

The Victory Band Club is displaying a Last Supper table according to the Jewish rite, a miniature model of the city of Jerusalem, made by Fr Paul Cremona, OC, and an exhibition of various symbols of Christ's Passion. A sacred art display will also be on show.

The exhibition will be officially opened by the parish priest, Fr Carmel Mercieca, at the band club on Wednesday, when La Vittoria Band will perform under the direction of Mro Joseph Vella. Opening hours are weekdays from 5 to 8.30 p.m., Palm Sunday from 9 a.m. till noon and 5 to 8 p.m., Maundy Thursday from 5 to 11 p.m., and Good Friday from 9 a.m. till noon.

Mosta
The Sacred Heart Oratory in Mosta is presenting the Passion play Irrid Nghix on Saturday at 6 p.m and Sunday at 2.30 and 6 p.m.

A number of young people are taking part in the production.

Carmelo Camemzuli is holding an exhibition at the Mary Immaculate Oratory, 58, Tower Road, Mosta, consisting of 11 papier-mâché statues presented within a church model. The exhibition opens today and ends on March 27. Opening hours are Monday to Saturday from 5 to 9 p.m., Sundays from 9.30 a.m. till noon and 4 to 9 p.m., Maundy Thursday from 5 to 11 p.m., and Good Friday from 9.30 a.m. till noon and 4 to 10.30 p.m.

Ghaqda Talent Mosti is organising a musico-literary evening Is-Salib - Twemmin, Tigrib u Folklor today at 7 p.m. The readers are Margaret Agius, Charles Abela Mizzi, Gorg Peresso and Charles Coleiro. An exhibition will be held between Wednesday and March 26. Opening hours are Monday to Saturday from 6 to 9 p.m., and Sundays and public holidays from 10 a.m. till noon. Both activities are being held at Ir-Razzett tal-Markiz Mallia Tabone, Mosta.

Msida
An exhibition of miniature Good Friday statues is being held at Dar Dun Anton, Church Street, Msida (near the parish church) from Thursday to March 25. The exhibition will be open during weekdays between 5 and 8.30 p.m., on Saturdays, Sundays and feast days from 9 a.m. to noon and 5 to 8.30 p.m., Maundy Thursday from 5 p.m. to midnight, and Good Friday from 7 a.m. to noon.

Paola
A Good Friday exhibition is being put up at Essex Garage, Valletta Road, Paola, on Thursday between 6 and 8.30 p.m., Friday from 5 to 9 p.m., Saturday from 9.30 a.m. till noon and 5.30 to 9 p.m., Sunday from 10 a.m. till noon and 5.30 to 9 p.m., March 21- 23 from 5 to 9 p.m., Maundy Thursday from 9 a.m. till noon and 5 to 10 p.m., and Good Friday from 9 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and 4 to 10 p.m.

Qormi
The Kummissjoni Zghazagh Bastjanizi is holding a Last Supper display at Psaila Hall (under St Sebastian church), with the main attraction being 13 life-size fibreglass statues by Stephen Borg. Viewing hours are Thursday to March 26 from 9 a.m. till noon and 5 to 9 p.m.

Rabat
Statues representing Christ's Passion are being exhibited at the St Agatha church today between 10 a.m. till noon, tomorrow from 9 a.m. till noon and 1 to 5 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. till noon and 4 to 8 p.m., Palm Sunday from 9 a.m. till noon and 2 to 8 p.m., Maundy Thursday from 9 a.m. till noon and 1 to 11 p.m., Good Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Easter Sunday from 9 a.m. till noon and 4 to 8 p.m.

Joe Galea is putting up a Last Supper display within a chapel environment at the Augustinian Hall between tomorrow and March 25. The exhibition will link Christ's Passion with the suffering that orphaned children are facing in Brazil and Algeria - both missions under the care of Maltese Augustinians. All proceeds will go towards both missions.

A Passion exhibition is being held at 46, College Street, Rabat (opposite the Girls' Secondary School) on Saturday from 9.30 a.m. till noon and 4.30 to 8 p.m., Palm Sunday from 8.30 a.m. to noon and 4.30 to 8 p.m., Good Friday from 9 a.m. till noon and 4.30 to 8 p.m., Saturday from 9.30 till noon and 5 to 7 p.m., and all other days from 5.30 to 8 p.m.

Sliema
The Salesians of Don Bosco are organising a sacred art exhibition entitled The Mystery of Easter under the patronage of the Apostolic Nuncio, Mgr Felix del Blanco Prieto. This will be held from Saturday to March 27 at St Patrick's School. An attraction is a display of original, unpublished sketches by Maltese artists Anton Inglott, Tusé Busuttil, and Giuseppe Hyzler.

St Julian's
Agnus Dei, an exhibition of the Last Supper and Christ's Passion, and excerpts from His life is being put up by the Micallef family at 52A, Lapsi Street, St Julian's (near Lapsi church) on Palm Sunday from 9 a.m. till noon and 5 to 9 p.m., March 21-23 from 5 to 8.30 p.m., Maundy Thursday from 5 to 11.30 p.m., and Good Friday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Zebbug
The 12th May Band and Social Club are putting up an ornamental exhibition at the club, which will be inaugurated by the Dominican Prior, Fr Frans Micallef, on Thursday at 7.30 p.m. The band will play music by local composers in the club's main hall.

The 12th May Band will also take part in the procession with the statue of the Risen Christ that leaves St Philip church on Easter Sunday at 9 a.m.
