The House of Representatives rose for its Christmas recess yesterday after approving a motion on the transfer of Fort Chambray to Gozitan businessman Michael Caruana. The House meets again on January 10.

Earlier yesterday the House gave a third reading to the Mediation Bill, the Transfer of Government Properties Act (amendment) Bill and the Civil Code (amendment) Bill.
