Alan Attard, who works at HSBC's Cospicua branch, is the latest winner of HSBC's Managing for Value (MfV) employee suggestion scheme. Mr Attard's suggestion dealt with a front office automated system that has replaced an old and actually slow manual system, reducing customers' waiting time.
Mr Attard received his prize from HSBC's marketing manager, George Camenzuli.
HSBC's MfV scheme aims to encourage staff to submit innovative ideas aimed at further improving the bank's performance and the quality of service offered to customers. All the ideas submitted are based on the HSBC Group's Managing for Value philosophy.
"The latest array of suggestions covered such topics on how to add value or identify and eliminate value-destroying processes.
"The MfV scheme has proved to be a great success with HSBC's employees, demonstrating their commitment to improving customer service as well as the bank's efficiency," Mr Camenzuli said.
"HSBC looks forward to more first-rate suggestions from employees over the coming months, which will continue to help the bank in delivering the best possible service to HSBC clients."
