HSBC Bank Malta is the principal sponsor of the Commonwealth Business Forum. This major sponsorship was presented by the bank's chief executive Shaun Wallis to the director general and chief executive of the Commonwealth Business Council, Dr Mohan Kaul.

Six presidents, five prime ministers and 40 company chief executives from around the world will attend the forum, which will be held from November 22 to 24.

"HSBC was the first Maltese organisation to realise the importance of the Commonwealth Business Forum," Mr Wallis said. "The forum brings together political and business leaders and provides a unique opportunity to discuss ways in which the lives of millions of people around the world could be improved.

"This year's forum is also a one-off opportunity to show off Malta to the rest of the world. HSBC has always striven to attract new investment to Malta and our support for the forum reflects our ongoing commitment to helping to promote this country as an ideal location in which to do business."
