HSBC Bank Malta plc has presented prizes of its Freshers' Week competition to four students. Students had to provide the best ending for HSBC's slogan "Saying YES 4 HSBC is saying YES 4..." Anna Maria Galea of Zurrieq won the first prize, an Lm250 air travel voucher, after opening an HSBC Students and Graduates account and providing the best ending to the slogan "... fresh ideas, fantastic offers and fun."
Runner-up Julian Evans of Fgura won an Olympus Digital Camera and third placed Laura Sghendo and Michael Farrugia, both of Paola, each won a Sagem MMS mobile phone.
"As in previous years, HSBC received a fantastic response from students entering sixth form and University. Students know that HSBC offers a range of services designed to help them manage their finances in the most effective way throughout their academic career and beyond," said Denise Caruana, senior marketing officer at HSBC.
