Humanitarian goods for the people of Syria are being collected by the Civil Protection Department between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. tomorrow.

The department said it will be assisting the General Workers' Union in an initiative it took by collecting blankets, sheets, pillowcases, towels, sanitary goods, water and tinned food at Xatt il-Bahhara in Marsa and at the department's station near the heliport in Gozo.

Those wishing to donate clothes and footwear should follow the instructions issued by the General Workers' Union and deposit their goods at the centres set up for this aim.
