The Federation for Hunting and Conservation has written to Environment and Rural Affairs Minister George Pullicino to protest over the demolition of hunters' hides in Pembroke and Qrejten and demand an explanation.

The federation said the minister had said before the referendum that there were no plans for the removal of the hides.

Since then he had not replied to repeated questions over why the hides were being removed.
