<i>Sajflimkien</i> activites for Munxar youths

The Munxar Youth Group has launched its summer activities for youths entitled Sajflimkien.

A fund-raising car wash, sponsored by Tonio Cassar Water Supplies, John Grima of Victoria Auto Parts and Armorall, was held on the village square. The funds collected will be used to build a ramp in the parish centre, enabling those with special needs to have access.

A project entitled Flok Tarmiha Tgawdiha will involve the collection of plastic bottles and aluminium cans for recycling. This is being organised to collect funds to buy new books for children at the parish library which has been open every Sunday for the past 30 years, and managed by people on a voluntary basis.

T-shirts carrying the slogan Sajflimkien: wherever, whenever, Munxar is in my Heart, have been distributed to be worn during the activities.
