IBN summer event to be held during Siġġiewi’s festa

The organisation is dedicated to connecting Irish professionals and supporting corporate ties between Ireland and Malta

The Malta Irish Business Network (IBN) will host an event at Marilu’s, in Siġġiewi, on Sunday, which will coincide with the locality’s festa. The event is sponsored by Exante.

IBN is the primary organisation dedicated to connecting Irish professionals and supporting corporate ties between Ireland and Malta. Its mission is to support Irish businesspeople in creating their business futures in Malta, while encouraging strong bilateral trade, digital economy bridges, and corporate collaboration.

There are more than 430 companies registered in Malta with direct Irish ownership or corporate ties, driving a robust two-way trade relationship exceeding €600 million annually.

The Maltese-Irish corporate landscape is deeply integrated, especially across the aviation, financial services, digital economy and iGaming sectors.

The Irish passport now ranks as the most powerful in the world, offering its citizens unmatched global mobility, dual citizenship benefits and access to EU opportunities. Its strength lies not just in visa-free travel, but in Ireland’s global reputation for neutrality, trust and inclusivity.

Today, many of the over 1,000 Irish expats and contract workers living in Malta are members of IBN Malta.
