The Island Car Club's 2010 season gets underway tomorrow at the iconic Miżieb hill.

Following in last season's strides, the 2010 ICC calendar features new venues with longer courses and promises to deliver thrills to both competitors and the ever-growing crowds of spectators.

The Miżieb race starts at 9 a.m. with numerous new entries, including a clutch of prototypes as the newcomers look determined to contest the dominance enjoyed by open wheel single-seaters in these past few seasons.

The highlights of the new entries include a Radical SR3 and SR4, that enjoyed significant race success in Europe, and a Doda SR1, sculpted in carbon-fibre and in itself a showcase of local design excellence.
