Colourful umbrella installation returns to Żabbar
Various activities being held as part of the Żabbar Street Festival on Staturday.
Żabbar is once again hosting an artistic umbrella installation as part of the Żabbar Street Festival, taking place on Saturday, June 13.
The attraction in Main Street has become one of the locality’s most popular photography spots, attracting both Maltese visitors and tourists who visit Żabbar during this period.
The colourful installation will be complemented by various family-friendly activities starting from 7pm onwards, including a classic and modern car exhibition in the town’s two main squares, billiard tournaments, local artisan stalls featuring various handmade products, and an exhibition of salt-crafted objects.
There will also be a big screen showing FIFA World Cup matches, live mural paintings by local artists and food and beverage stalls.
Children will also enjoy bouncy castles, virtual reality games and animation, among other attractions.
The festival aims to bring the community together while promoting Żabbar’s historic centre as a cultural and tourism destination.
