Palermo: Real Mallorca have agreed to sell Serbian international midfielder Bosko Jankovic to Palermo for 6 million euros ($8 million), the Primera Liga club said. The 23-year-old was Mallorca's joint top scorer with nine goals last season.
Webster: Rangers have agreed an extended loan deal with English Premier League club Wigan for Scotland defender Andy Webster to stay until January 2008, the SPL club said. The 25-year-old is embroiled in a contract row after being ordered by FIFA to pay Hearts £625,000 for quitting his deal early to join Wigan at the end of last season.
Roberts: Former England and Tottenham defender Graham Roberts has won his claim for unfair dismissal against Clyde. Roberts was sacked as manager last July over claims he made racist and anti-Semitic comments to opposition players but a Glasgow employment tribunal ruled Clyde failed to investigate the complaints properly and Roberts was awarded £32,000.
Coleman: Chris Coleman was set to be confirmed as coach of relegated Real Sociedad last night after Maria de la Pena was ratified as the club's president at a shareholders meeting. The former Fulham coach had agreed a three-year contract with De la Pena, who took provisional charge of the club when former president Miguel Fuentes stepped down at the beginning of last month.
Barcelona: Barcelona will play Italian champions Inter in the annual Hans Gamper trophy. The match will be played at the Nou Camp on August 29.
