In September 2007 the Department of Inland Revenue wrote to inform me that the refund of income tax due from 1992 would be paid in instalments.

The sum of €503 was to have been paid by December 31, 2009.

With this sum not having been received, it is now hoped that the department will keep to its commitment to pay interest at one per cent per month on this amount.
