Talks between the Union Haddiema Maghqudin and Maltapost have met another stumbling block and the union has again advised the company's chief executive it might take industrial action.
The union said that at a meeting yesterday the management had failed to provide all the information requested by the union about the company's restructuring plan, which would make 266 workers redundant.
The union accused Maltapost's management of dragging its feet, adding that its lack of cooperation was seriously undermining the union's goodwill and efforts to make progress over pending industrial issues.
Last week, the two parties established a two-week schedule of meetings in an effort to resolve the long-standing dispute on restructuring and the collective agreement.
