The annual rate of inflation as measured by the Retail Price Index in October was 1.36%, down from 1.41% in September.

The National Statistics Office said the 12-month moving average rate for October stood at 1.69%.

The largest upward impact on annual inflation was recorded in the Transport and Communication Index, while the only downward impact was recorded in the Household Equipment and House Maintenance Costs Index.
